To encourage and cherish the practice of the arts, Bengal Foundation organised the Bangla Sangskriti Utsab, a 10-day cultural festival in Sylhet from February 22 to March 3, 2017. Over 400 poets-writers-singers-musicians-dancers-stage actors-craftspersons-painters performed and engaged in various kinds of programming at the festival, over the ten days.

This rendition of Kazi Nazrul Islam’s song ‘Mor ghum ghore ele...’, by Rakiba Islam Oishi, was performed on stage at the Bangla Sangskriti Utsab, in Sylhet, in 2017. The artist is accompanied on stage by musician Emamul Haque Omar on the Tabla; Ekram Hossain on the Percussion; Ruptanu Rupu on the keyboard; Monwar Hussain Tutul on the Guiter; Moniruzzaman on the Flute and Mahmudul Hasan on the Harmonium.
