What are the prized possessions of our most venerable citizens? What have people cherished so much, they've preserved and cared for it for years, some nurturing vintage goods into antiquedom?

Appraisal fairs at senior centers are some of my favorites, the pieces that have stuck with their owners throughout life come with fascinating stories that bespeak their age! We let them talk to us, listening for clues that help us know when items originated, who made them and what makes them special enough to have lasted a lifetime!

From childhood toys and dolls to folk art and Alaskan artifacts, these folks bring a wealth of surprises for us to view!
