EVERY Janken Boss Battle for Alex Kidd in Miracle World follows a 'Best-of-Three format. They are all easy to win, once you know the winning permutations. Be careful though: after the first two, it becomes randomized, meaning it becomes a game of chance. Losing the Janken battle sees Alex Kidd lose a life, and respawn just before the battle to retry...

1st Battle: Rock, Scissors
2nd Battle: Scissors, Paper
3rd Battle: Rock, Scissors
4th Battle: Paper, Paper
5th Battle: Rock, Rock
6th Battle: Rock, Scissors
7th Battle: Paper, Paper.

Later Janken battles in the game also require you to defeat the boss with three hits. Special items such as the Power Bracelet cannot be equipped during this, as you will be unable to pause the game. One hit will see Alex Kidd lose a life. Many of them are easy once you exploit a weakness in their attack patterns. Just use this video as a reference.
