In this episode of Open Houses, Open Roads, we’re taking you on a 2,000+ mile RV journey through some of the most iconic and rejuvenating outpost destinations in the American Southwest… places known for rest, relaxation, and reconnecting with nature.

Our adventure begins in Truth or Consequences New Mexico, a legendary hot springs town famous for its natural mineral soaking culture. We stayed right on the Rio Grande at Riverbend Hot Springs, spending several days soaking, slowing down, and fully embracing the healing energy this town is known for.

From there, we headed west to Southern California to visit my active-duty Navy brother, spending unforgettable time together at Camp Pendleton, staying at the Del Mar Marina RV campground reserved for active-duty and retired service members. Three days on the beach, incredible sunsets, ocean time, and family memories we’ll cherish forever.

Next stop: the desert oasis of Palm Springs and Palm Desert, California. Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Jenna enjoyed a spa days with her amazing Mother In Law Jennifer, we all played a lot of golf, and soaked in the iconic mid-century desert vibes that make Palm Springs and Palm Desert such beloved winter escapes.

We wrapped up our Southwest journey in Sedona, traveling with our Golden Retriever and ending the trip on the ultimate wellness note. From our final spa visit at “Amara Spa” and a signature “Trail’s End” massage to crystal shopping, vortex hopping, and jaw-dropping sunsets, Sedona was the perfect place to reflect before heading home after the holidays.

This trip was about more than travel, it was about reconnecting, rejuvenating, and celebrating life together as newlyweds. No homes toured this epsiode just a lot of love, family, relaxation and amazing places to visit if you love the Outpost cities and relaxing spa destintions in the Southwestern part of the USA!
