Piledriving the Kodiak 100 to FL380 - and trying to flatspin it back to earth

Описание: This was leg 36 from Pisco (SPSO) to Orcopampa (SPOR), I had Uitvreter and Artingu along with me.

Uitvreter and I were senselessly pushing the planes higher and higher, a race to outer space. In the sim FL380 was about the limit what the Kodiak can do with reasonable climb rates. Uitvreter was in a TBM8.
I an attempt to lose altitude fast, I tried to flatspin the Kodiak back to ground level. But. It. Just. Would. Not. Spin. Damn thing.

Race To Space begins at around 1:15:00
and the futile flatspin attempts occur at 1:54:50

From my understanding, the limiting factor IRL, when it comes to altitude, are the humans on board - even with supplemental oxygen masks the max certified alt for the Kodiak is 25,000 ft. Above that you'll need pressurized cabins. So while the engine of the Kodi might be able to go way beyond that, it just won't happen.

There's another open source and free tool I totally endorse which is AutoFPS. It makes your flight sim experience a whole lot smoother and gives you the best visual quality you can get from the hardware you've got.
