Описание: The Puerto Escondido section of MOMENTUM is a turning point. Back then, Taylor Steele was a pretty shy high schooler. His friend Rob Machado encouraged him to go to Mexico to film with some of his friends. Rob wanted to show them Taylor's new trick. You see, at the time, surf movies were made on 16mm film. So when filmmakers documented a session, it would be months or years before the surfers ever saw the results. Taylor was using VHS video tapes. So Rob and his friends (guys like Kelly Slater, Ross Williams, and Shane Dorian) could see their rides as soon as they got out of the water. This played a significant role in their crews' ability to progress as surfers -- reviewing their session immediately after they went down. But at the time, this was just how the all first met.
