Most people use Claude like a search engine that writes better sentences. Type a question, get an answer, copy and paste it somewhere. That works. But Claude can read your files, edit your projects, and run commands directly on your computer. You just need to set it up.
This is Session 1 of a five-part series. I walk you through installing all three Claude interfaces (Desktop, VS Code extension, and terminal), show you what each one does, and explain when to use which. By the end you will have all three working and you will have run your first real task on your own files.
