Описание: MK4 Jetta Full Battery No Crank

In this video I show you how to fix a Volkswagen MK4 Jetta or Golf that doesn't crank but has a full battery. In my case, I made sure that the battery was fully charged, and then I touched the ignition pin on the back of the starter to the positive terminal with the car in neutral and the key in the "ON" position". The car should start when doing this--if not, the starter would be suspect.

Here are the steps to remove the starter:
1. Remove battery
2. Remove battery tray (4x 10mm bolts)
3. Remove harness clip and move harness/loom to expose top starter bolt
4. Remove metal tab on top of top starter bolt (13mm nut)
5. Remove top starter bolt (18mm)
6. Jack up car
7. Remove bottom starter bolt (18mm)
8. Re-assembly is the reverse. Torque starter bolts to 33 ft/lbs.
