Pakistan has acknowledged the impact of India’s anti-terror strikes on key military installations, including the Nur Khan Air Base, marking a shift from its earlier denial. Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar admitted that India’s precision strikes caused damage to military infrastructure and injured personnel at the Rawalpindi base. He said India sent multiple drones, with one managing to hit a military installation. Dar revealed that Pakistan’s civil and military leadership met on May 9 to authorise responses to the situation. Despite satellite images showing damage at several air bases, Pakistan had initially refuted India’s actions. Cross-border shelling followed before Pakistan’s DGMO proposed a ceasefire, which was accepted on May 10.
