The catalog is selling a custom Arch KRGT-1 motorcycle that the actor and bike enthusiast Keanu Reeves helped design. Buyers will also get to take a ride with Reeves and Arch Motorcycles founder, the well-known bike builder Gard Hollinger (you might recall him from the old Discovery Channel show “Biker Build-Off”).
For $150,000, up to three customers will get the Arch Motorcycle & Ride Experience, which includes the big, high-performance, 121-horsepower bike and a two-day ride along the California coast and through the Angeles Crest National Forest with Reeves and Hollinger
The deal also comes with first-class airfare for two from anywhere in the U.S. to Los Angeles, private car service to and from the airport and three nights in a suite at Santa Monica's Shutters on the Beach. Customers’ guests also get to join the ride on Arch motorcycles, but don’t get to keep them.
The Arch KRGT-1, introduced last year, reflects growing interest in the motorcycle market for custom machinery that helps riders stand out among the crowds on mass-market bikes. Even large manufacturers like Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha have tapped into the trend by offering special paint, trim and accessories that allow buyers to make their everyday bikes more of a hand-built look
