One of the longest standing members of the Fresh Coast battle scene, Tantrum has certainly made his mark on modern battle rap. Holding it down since he first appeared in Grindtime, the Union City emcee first burst onto the scene in his now classic matchup against fellow West Coaster Dumbfoundead, one of the highest viewed battles of all time. Since then, Tantrum has squared off against high profile opponents such as Dirtbag Dan, Cadalack Ron, and Illusion Z to name a few. Combining witty bars with a dominating performance, Tantrum is a force to be reckoned with for any battle rapper. A frequent guest of King of the Dot Tantrum makes his debut in Toronto, facing off against Flip Top's own Protege.
Assisting in the the role of Flip Top ambassador to the battle rap scene, Protege represents for the Philippines alongside Flip Top founder Anygma. Battling fluently in English, Protege has earned his status as both a top dog in Flip Top as well as an international threat, having traveled to World Domination in year's past to take on opponents such as Diaz and Rone. Garnering a massive amount of fan support after his first visit to King of the Dot, Protege's rapid paced style in which he packs punch after punch to decimate his opponent's proved popular with the Canadian crowds. Back in Toronto yet again, Protege looks to continue building his fan base and secure the win over Tantrum.
