A confident and independent young student, Tima dreams of having a successful career in the multimedia industry. But her dream does not come easily. Her father expects her to follow in his footsteps and become a lawyer or judge. No matter how she makes her case, he is not convinced she can combine her own passions with a career. Behind his back, she pursues her own work in the multimedia industry and achieves success, but will he see it this way, or will he keep her from her dream?

TIMA’S DREAM - a short fictional film by: Musa Baldeh, Fatoumatta A. Jallow, Mamadou Salieu Jallow, Michael Jordan, Nelson Kajona, Isatou Keita, Ebrima Mbye, Orevaoghene O. Nelson, David Noah, Idowu Olamilekan, Prince B.A Sankanu and Aji Jatou Sanneh.

Created in West Africa during the project LOOKING CLOSER in 2022 by WELTFILME, YMCA Ghana, SLADEA (Sierra Leone), NAEAL (Liberia), Cinéma Numérique Ambulant Togo, The University of The Gambia and Xchange Perspectives with financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
