𝙎𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙨 𝙞𝙣 𝙀𝙣𝙜𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙛𝙧𝙤𝙢 𝙃𝙞𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮 is specifically designed for English learners. Each episode consists of two parts. In part one, we provide the historical context for the story, allowing you to learn about history while listening to English. Research shows that focusing on something other than language learning leads to faster second-language acquisition. Our aim is to make learning English a natural by-product of learning history. Part one also introduces key words that will appear in the story, helping you understand it better. Visual aids with the key words are provided on-screen.

In part two, you will hear a dramatized story set in the episode's historical context. Your goal is to fully understand the story upon the first listening. We encourage you to download the lesson file (📂 not yet available) and work on the provided exercises, before listening to the audio, for an immersive learning experience. By first establishing the meaning of the keywords in the stories, you will prepare yourself properly for the listening exercise while also setting yourself up to remember the new words when you meet them in context.

There are two levels: 🐢 (B1) and 🐇 (B2 ). Choose the level that suits you best. This podcast will provide useful listening practice for the following Cambridge exams:
KET, PET, First Certificate - Level 1
First Certificate, CAE, CPE, IELTS - Level 2

3. Translate all the words into your language. Use a dictionary to help you. Read the summary of the video podcast at the bottom of the page.
4. Listen to the video podcast without stopping. 𝔻𝕆 ℕ𝕆𝕋 use a dictionary during this stage.
5. Your aim is to understand 100% on the first listening.
6. Listen to the podcast again if you understand less than 100%. You can use a dictionary during this stage.
