Make ultra-fluffy, jiggly Japanese pancakes at home. Cook low and slow with a little steam for towering stacks that melt in your mouth. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat.
Ingredients:
● 2 Eggs
● Milk 3 tsp
● Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
● All Purpose Flour 4-5 tsp
● Sugar Powder 1 tbsp
● Olive Oil ½ tsp
Steps:
In a bowl, crack 2 eggs and separate the yolk.
In the yolks, add milk, vanilla essence and all purpose flour. Mix well.
In the white part, beat it for 2-3 minutes untill its foamy.
Add sugar and again mix well.
Add the yolks mixture in the white part and Mix well.
Take a pan, add a little oil. Add 1 tsp water to the pan, cover, and cook 2–3 min.
Flip & finish: Flip carefully, add a splash of water, cover, and cook 2 min more until set and golden.
Serve immediately.
Tips:
Bowl must be clean & grease-free for stable meringue.
Fold with a spatula using light, lifting motions.
Keep heat low; steam helps lift without burning.
Use ring molds or parchment collars for extra height.
