RAN Band celebrates the Republic of Fiji Navy Band's anniversary

Описание: On 18 September 2020, the Republic of Fiji Navy Band was officially commissioned into service. On this special one year anniversary, the Royal Australian Navy Band reaches out to our friends in music, and the Republic of Fiji Navy in celebration and hope for the future, with our performance of Era Bini Tu, by Kabani.

Fiji is one of the Royal Australian Navy’s newest Navy-to-Navy relationships (which now number 18), with 2020 the inaugural talks. We look forward to the next iteration of the Talks on 21 Oct 21. Some pillars of this relationship include: training, personnel exchanges, operations and exercises, capability.

Our navies aim to work together to strengthen maritime security in the region, and Fiji is taking a very active role in this. The band-band relationship is an important continuation of this Navy relationship, and through the universal language of music, our enduring friendship is strengthened.
