Finally broke down and ordered the TFO trout/panfish series 2 rod in the 7 ft 1 piece version. I`ve owned the series 1 for awhile now and absolutely love it so I was excited to see they updated the model. The new version is very similar to the old one, just a tad lighter and more sensitive. The new color is a beautiful limeish green and there`s an extra piece of cork on the grip section. Overall after 1 day of use I give this rod a 5 star rating. Highly recommended! The field test was supposed to be more of a comparison of the old and new versions but it was more of a new version demo lol.

Sidenote, if you`re interested in TFO ultralights the series 1 is on sale at sportsman`s warehouse for like 65 bux. The series 2 is gonna run you about 120 bux at Fishusa.
