War in the Middle East is reshaping global markets. Iran's Revolutionary Guard has closed the Strait of Hormuz — a critical chokepoint for global energy supply — sending oil and gas prices higher and pushing investors back toward safe-haven assets. Gold surged to a daily high of $5,419 on Monday, nearing its all-time high of $5,595 set in late January, and is now up roughly 23% year-to-date.

In crypto, Bitcoin posted a sharp intraday recovery, gaining 7.40% over approximately two hours following the U.S. market open — climbing from $65,308 to $70,138. BTC ETFs recorded net inflows of $458.2 million, and Strategy added 3,015 BTC (~$204.1M) to its treasury.

Ether treasury firm Bitmine purchased nearly 51,000 ETH last week, bringing its total holdings to 4,474 ETH — representing 3.71% of Ethereum's total supply. Over the past 24 hours, BTC gained 3.74% and ETH 3.68%.

Elsewhere, NEAR surged ~40% over seven days following the launch of "Confidential Intents," Bybit recovered $300M in flagged withdrawals protecting 4,000+ users, and crypto funds attracted $1B — ending a five-week outflow streak.
