Initially launched by the programs 'Candid and Video Show' and "Le Iene" on Italia 1 ', Pierfrancesco Diliberto (aka Pif) started his own program in 2007 called 'Il testimone' (the witness) later renamed" Il testimone VIP" (the witness VIP), broadcast on MTV. It reached its fourth season in 2011 and focused on the close and detailed account of the daily lives of celebrities from the world of sport, politics and entertainment. As director, he has just begun shooting his second film called La Mafia uccide solo d'estate (The Mafia only kills in summer' (ondemand.mtv.it).
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event.
