Описание: Last year I took a boat down the Amazon River. I travelled from the capital of the Brazilian Amazons, Manaus, to Leticia in Colombia. This took me 7 days on a boat with locals and nomadic travellers from South America. I went on alone, having no clue what the experience would hold. So many people told me not to do it and that it was a hella stupid idea. But I bought a hammock and some snacks and hoped for the best. I'm forever grateful that I did because It was one of the most interesting and authentic experiences I've had in my entire life. The people I met and the stories they told changed my perspective on the world and humanity forever. I found a new respect for the difficulties people encounter in their lives and the strength they have to keep going with a smile.
