Hi x so after flying over the drone yesterday and spotting a couple of abadonded mills i decided to take a look, the Peter Scot mill is completely sealed but a different story for the smaller Glenhowe mill the hexa fence isn't linked together and the main sliding doors or the side are wide open, I was surprised to find the place like a museum to the history of Hawicks knitwear industry the old lifeblood of the town, its a very old stone building and brings much character to the area but alas like the other two mills ive filmed in Hawick its abandoned in the hope of being condemned for modern biscuit tin buildings a crime which ive seen throughout the many years ive been exploring abandoned historical buildings, the shape of the building reminded me of the old flour mill in Birmingham 💖
