Dumulmerio is an notoirous tourist spot of Yangpyeong, Gyeonggi-do. The region is famous for its fabulous view and has appeared in many Korean movies and dramas. The place is also well known for lotus flowers, and there are many restaurants specialized in lotus leaf dishes.
Dumulmeori is also called 'Yangsuri,' which means 'two water village.' At Dumulmeori, Bukhangang river and Namhangang river become a single river. The two rivers give the region a splendid view worth a visit, especially the sunrise and sunset. Because of the breathtaking scenery, many photographers and filmmakers choose Dulmulmeori as their favorite spot.
There are many attractions in Dumulmeori. The dock for an ancient-style ferry and three 400-year-old Zelkova trees add beauty to the area. Greenhouses filled with small plants and ponds full of lotus leaves and flowers give a healing feeling.
