Описание: Many years ago, in the early days of the channel, I visited Harrods in London and tried on a Langmatik perpetual calendar by A. Lange & Sohne. It subsequently became a grail watch because of its classical style, traditional elegance, and highly refined watchmaking artistry. However, time passed and like most who are watch obsessed, I lost sight of this long term watch goal while falling in love with endless other watches. That said, deep in the back of my mind my admiration and desire for this brand has not diminished.

Now that I have access to any luxury watch for review via WatchBox, it’s time to revisit this historic brand from the birthplace of the German watch industry. In general, luxury watches today are more commonly attributed to the Swiss, but it was in fact Germany that pioneered portable timepieces long before Switzerland.

Today we take an in-depth look at the A. Lange & Sohne Saxonia Annual Calendar (Ref. 330.026). As I renew my search for the next high-end piece, I wonder if this could be my next grail.
