Light over Darkness are a 9-piece Triskelion, Cebuano Nu-Metal, Metalcore band from Cebu City.
The band formed in 2020 from a collection of Funk-loving jazz nerds, long-haired softies,
stay-at-home dads who met at Cebu music scene and Fraternity gatherings and who all just
couldn't get enough Limp Bizkit, Lamb of God and Deftones. Their unique brand of entertainment
fuses hard-hitting grooves, turntablist technique, tight 4-part vocal growls, like “grrrrrrrrrrr.”
and punchy guitar riffs with flashy choreography and surprising set changes that will make you
want to dance in which your head is shaken vigorously and rapidly in a flapping manner.
