Lang was chased off, bruised and bleeding — and later lied online, claiming he was “lynched” and “stabbed,” even though police reported no assault.
The part he never talks about? It was young Black men who physically protected him from being seriously harmed.
This same man is accused of some of the most violent acts on January 6 — allegedly fighting police for over two hours with a bat and a riot shield. He spent nearly four years in jail, called himself a “political prisoner,” tried to build a militia from behind bars — and was finally freed after Trump’s mass pardon in January 2025.
Since then, he’s doubled down: racist rallies, slurs, “Protect White Americans” protests, and even a Senate run in Florida.
Sometimes the lesson life teaches is simple: The people you hate might be the same people who save your life.
