ETA: Apparently, REV'IT! did upgrade the velcro, but apparently not the pocket.
I've been pretty lucky with my gear, overall I'm very happy with what I bought and have no significant regrets. But that doesn't mean I don't have things I don't like or that could be improved.
Two significant items in my summer gear are the Joe Rocket Turbulent gloves and the REV'IT! Eclipse jacket, both are budget options designed for function and have a few aspects that betray their price point.
