Recipe is below:
Chinese Sausage Steamed Buns
5 to 6 Chinese sausages
3 cups premix wheat flour
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cooking oil
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
wax paper
Cut each Chinese sausage into 3 equal pieces.
In a large bowl, add premix flour, sugar and oil. Gradually add milk and mix with fork or chopsticks. Add water and continue mixing until well blended. Cover with lid for 15 minutes. (Premix wheat flour already has yeast and rising powder in it)
Put 1/4 of the loose flour on a plate to work the dough on. Take a small piece of dough the size of a golf ball or larger. Spread out the dough on the flour. Push the dough from the middle to the outside. Put I piece of Chinese sausage on the middle of the dough. Wrap the dough around the Chinese sausage.
Cut 2 inch squares of wax and put on a tray. Put each finished Chinese sausage bun on a square of wax paper.
Put water in a pan and cover with a lid. Bring water to a boil. Put tray of buns in the pan. Cover and steam at medium heat for 15 to 20 minutes. When time's up, remove from pan and serve. Makes 15 to 18 steamed buns. Enjoy!
