🏞️ The Dir Chitral road is our companion for the next 8 hours, alongside the mesmerizing Panjkora river. The journey is a mix of smooth roads and rough patches – a true adventure! Pro tip: Avoid sedans and low-clearance cars; opt for a sturdy jeep or Hiace, especially after Sheringal.

🌅 There's something magical about traveling at night. The tranquil roads and lack of traffic create an atmosphere of serenity, culminating in the breathtaking sunrise that paints the sky with vibrant hues – a reminder of the divine beauty around us.

🕗 By 8:30 AM, we arrive at Thal, where we catch up on some much-needed rest in our Hiace amidst the challenging road conditions. Thal surprises with its wooden mosque, steeped in history, and the gentle embrace of the Panjkora river – a moment we capture with our drone's lens.

🍳 A hearty breakfast of Paratha and tea fuels our spirits as we soak in the surroundings. However, Thal is still a work in progress, lacking amenities due to floods and increasing tourism. We hope that the valley's charm attracts more development for the benefit of all.
