Early Estimates: SSI Check Amounts for 2024

Описание: We now have an early estimate of how much SSI payment amounts will be thanks to the 2024 Presidential budget request. President Biden asked Congress for over $61.5 billion for the SSI program. Most of that appropriation would go toward federal benefit payments for the expected 7.3 million Federal SSI recipients. The budget estimates a 2024 COLA, and therefore, also an early projection for 2024 SSI check amounts. We explain.
