Der Reiseführer war plötzlich verschwunden und abgetaucht, also keine Erläuterung, was passiert oder passieren wird. Die Zeremonie beginnt, die Trommler und der Flötenmann beginnen zu spielen. Alle warten gespannt, was passiert, ob die Tür aufgeht oder von irgendwo jemand höher gestelltes den Vorraum betritt. Alle fotografieren oder filmen, aber es passiert … nichts. Zur Ablenkung schwenke ich mal in den Strom der Leute, die Buddhas Zahn sehen wollen. Dazu muss man in den Raum eine Etage über der gezeigten Tür. Diese Aufnahme sind kurz vor dem Corona-Lockdown gefilmt worden, als es noch kein Versammlungsverbot und keine Abstandsregeln gab. Nach 3 Minuten Trommelwirbel und immer der gleichen Melodie stelle auch ich meine Kamera ab, lasse mich durch die Menge treiben, werde einmal die Treppe hochgedrückt und durch den Raum, wo man Buddhas Zahn sehen könnte, wenn man nicht die Ausländerspur nehmen muss und vielleicht auch mal kurz anhalten darf. Wieder zurück, spielen die Trommer und der Flötist immer noch und die Tür ist immer noch verschlossen.
