This board is one of the latest creations from Taz, the so called 'prodigy kid' of the surf world. Taz is rapidly becoming a shaper of some repute and now shaping under the Pukas surfboards label is just getting better and better.
The Underdog is a high performance shortboard for the everyday surfer. Not a round-nosed fat potato, or a rebranded groveller shortboard. A real, genuine pointed nosed shortboard, with a slightly fuller outline for stability, yet still narrow enough for control in good waves. This board started out as a personal shortboard project for Taz himself. With his hours in the shaping bay increasing in ratio to his hours in the water, he felt he needed some new spark, to get him enjoying his sessions again, the Underdog was born!
