Описание: ভয়াবহ ভূমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠলো রাজধানীসহ বাংলাদেশের বিভিন্ন স্থান। শক্তিশালী ভূমিকম্পের মাত্রা ছিলো ৫ দশমিক ৭। আবহাওয়া দফতর জানিয়েছে, এর উত্পত্তিস্থল ছিলো নরসিংদির মাধবদি। স্থানীয় সময় সকাল ১০টা ৪০ এর দিকে এই কম্পন অনুভূত হয়। ভূ-পৃষ্ঠ থেকে মাত্র ১০ কিলোমিটার গভীরে ছিলো এর উৎপত্তিস্থল। ফলে তীব্র শক্তিতে কম্পন আঘাত হানে। ভূমিকম্পের আঘাতে এখন পর্যন্ত ঢাকায় ৩ জনের মৃত্যুর খবর পাওয়া গেছে। রাজধানী থেকে উৎপত্তিস্থল খুব কাছেই হওয়ায় ঢাকাতে তীব্র কম্পন অনুভূত হয়। বিভিন্ন স্থানে বেশ কিছু ভবন হেলে পড়ার খবর পাওয়া গেছে। আতঙ্ক ছড়ায় সাধারণ মানুষের মাঝে। এসময় ঘরবাড়ি, অফিস এবং ব্যবসা প্রতিষ্ঠান ছেড়ে বাইরে বের হয়ে আসেন লাখো লাখো মানুষ। সাম্প্রতিক সময়ের মধ্যে বাংলাদেশে এটিই অনুভূত হওয়া সবচেয়ে শক্তিশালী ভূমিকম্প।
