Loake refused to repair their own boots, claiming the damage was the customer's fault and leaving them for dead. But when the customer brought them to me, I saw an opportunity to not just fix them—but to transform them into something even better.
In today’s video, I take on these Loake Loxley boots with sheared-off rubber soles and a factory rejection notice, and I give them a completely new lease of life with a custom sole design the customer spotted in my workshop. Watch as I break down the damage, show why the factory refused to repair them, and step-by-step restore and customise these boots with a sole design that turns them into something truly unique.
