----------
I'm passionate about contributing to real reforms for our country. I don't know why—maybe it's
my Theology background, maybe it's my upbringing—but money doesn't motivate me, power
or prestige. What motivates me is that our people get some respite from suffering. My family
is okay, my children are okay, but my kababayan's children are not okay—the vast majority
of them. If you ask me what I'm passionate about, that; just making sure na matigil na yung
panloloko ng mga politiko na ang tagal-tagal nang nagloloko. For some reason—I know it's very
difficult to even make a dent in the political arena, but—hindi ako makatulog, because nakikita
natin yung nakikita natin. Buwisit tayo sa ating lipunan. Now, a lot of people think I'm nuts,
being passionate about that. Maybe it's what I see in our society that makes me passionate—
some people don't see that. Meaning to say the suffering...
We have a diagram here. This is the diagram of Kapatiran Party. The platform of the party is to
end political dynasties—it's not a priority of the Aquino administration. Full public disclosure,
or FOI. Abolition of discretionary powers or authority of BIR and BOC. Speedy administration
of justice. If, for example, they implement this or they certify this as urgent; the FOI lang and
the dynasty. Certify this as urgent, as fast as they certified the Corona impeachment or the RH
Bill. Automatically, maybe not immediately—maybe not automatically—give it a year or two
until we feel the effects of the implementation. You have immediate elimination of corruption
eh, big time. Imagine, makakahinga yung gobyerno natin. Yan palang ah. O sige, FOI palang
and dynasty. They talk about growth? There will never be growth unless they be true to the
constitutional mandate to prohibit dynasties. Eh, all over, 75% of the country are run by
dynasties. So, immediate effect; corruption is eliminated. Where will the money go? Ito; more
social services, education, housing, health, infrastructure, other basic services. Okay? What's the
effect? A conducive climate for private business and job creation. When you have this conducive
business climate, and when there are many jobs, you could ask our foreign funders and lenders
for reduction in foreign debt and repayment. With this... Magkano ba yung allocation for foreign
debt? Almost 30%? 40? 30-40. If you have this, more revenue collection dito oh. And then, less
debt allocation—mas maraming pera internally. No need to increase taxes.
