This Washington State Park is a real gem, even in the winter. The deep cold waters and surrounding forest are great habitat for wildlife, there is a lovely trail looping the whole lake, and there are ample places to have a BBQ or just sit and soak in the beautiful scenery. Boating, swimming, and fishing are also activities that can be enjoyed here, and I'm sure it is pretty crowded on summer weekends.
We really enjoyed our visit here!
