Students and staff came together to craft beautiful Goodu Deepa lanterns—each one a labour of love—showcasing imagination, teamwork, and respect for culture. From intricate frames to warm, glowing lamps, the Goodu Deepa competition filled our campus with colour, craft, and friendly enthusiasm.

This year’s celebration also featured a heartfelt well worship ceremony—a moment of gratitude for water, nature, and the hands that care for our surroundings. With diyas lit and prayers offered, we reflected on the values we hope to pass on to our children: stewardship, thankfulness, and unity.

The evening concluded with joyful applause at our prize distribution, recognising the dedication of students, houses/teams, and volunteers who made the festival memorable. Smiles, cheers, and proud moments on stage captured what Vidyaniketana stands for—learning with values, celebrating with humility, and growing together as one family.
