Today i will be showing you how to use google docs on your mobile device or iphone so first of all, we're gonna have to download the google docs app. i have it right here and this is what it looks like so to download. This you're first gonna go to the app store go ahead and click the app store I'm going to be using an iPhone so it's app store android is a little bit different we're then going to go to the bottom and click search and then type in google docs so you can go ahead. see it at the top it's going to be the first one that pops up most likely and it's going to have 1.6 million reviews 5 stars. it's going to be I have a lot of reviews so don't get distracted if there's another one before that so you're going to click download and then once you download it it's going to google docs is going to take you to this screen. this screen is going to be the place where you sign in to your Gmail account so go ahead and click sign in and then continue or I'm going to hit select another account so I'm going to use my tech tip for boomers account. Click that one and then it brings up information about tips and then I'm going to click got it and this is where my previous documents are if I want to make a new document go down to the bottom right here and click the little plus sign. then it will give you an option to choose a template or to create a new document so depending on what you want to do you can choose either of those options if you choose a template this is going to be great. if you're going to be writing a letter a formal letter business letter or if you're doing a project for your work or for your school this is an easy way to give a good MLA format APA format and then some other things so you can use one of these. and then just edit the text that is in there and keep the formatting the way it is so we can do that but for this example, we're gonna go to a blank document because those are most common so click the new document. then this is where you're gonna put in the name of your document so I'm gonna name this test one and then I'm gonna hit create. and then this is going to allow me to start typing my new document so if I say hey this is tech tips for boomers.
