Описание: The Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus) is a large cat of the subfamily Felinae that occurs in Southern, North, and East Africa, and a few localities in Iran.
The species is IUCN Red Listed as vulnerable. By 2016, the global cheetah population has been estimated at approximately 7,100 individuals in the wild.
The only extant member of the genus Acinonyx, It is the fastest land animal, estimated to be capable of running at 80 to 128 km/h (50 to 80 mph).
In 2017, the Cat Classification Task Force of the Cat Specialist Group revised felid taxonomy and now recognizes the Southern and Eastern African cheetah populations as A. j. jubatus.

Status: Critically Endangered.

4- Northwest African Cheetah (Acinonyx jubatus hecki)
Status: Critically Endangered.
