Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh: Demolition drive underway in Dalmandi market to demolish the encroachments. "The widening work of Dalmandi market road has started, and three houses have been identified for demolition today... Barricading has been done to prevent the movement of the people," said Police.
Heavy police deployed in Dalmandi market over the demolition drive carried out by the administration to demolish the encroachments. Dashashwamedh ACP, Atul Anjan Tripathi says, "The widening work of Dalmandi market road has started, and three houses have been identified for demolition today... Barricading has been done to prevent the movement of the people. A paramilitary force has also been deployed along with the civil force... This operation will continue for some time."
