I documented what I could while building this prototype Cittern in my half-finished shed/workshop.
The instrument is designed as a mix of modern nordic mandola/låtmandola design and lattice-braced guitar ideas.

Top: Clawed European Spruce
Back & Sides: Sapele
Neck: Roasted Maple with a plain maple stripe and 4 x carbon fibre bars.
Fingerboard: Royal Blackwood (torrefied Purpleheart)
Lattice bracing: Balsa wood and Carbon fibre
Neck is adjustable at the heel with an Allen key.
Top frequency and response is adjustable with weights accessed through a magnetic hatch in the side.
