After driving deep into a misty forest, I park the camper van beside a small stream and turn the cold, wet campsite into a warm little home. Inside the wooden camper, I light the lanterns, prepare hot tea and rice cakes, listen to the rain, and enjoy a peaceful moment with my little dog, Auggie.

When the rain finally slows down, we explore the forest, walk beside the stream, and return to the camper to prepare a comforting dinner. I make crispy shrimp and chive pancakes, a steaming layered cabbage and beef hot pot, and a simple healthy meal for Auggie.

Later that night, I decorate the camper for Auggie’s birthday with balloons, a tiny cake, candles, and a special birthday hat. The next morning, we visit the beautiful Boseong green tea fields before returning to the camper for a quiet painting session by the open window.
