Pilgrims Rejoice! Ticket Counter Opens Tomorrow for Velankanni Special Trains from Vasco
In a press briefing, Augusto M. Da Costa, Member of the Divisional Railway Users Consultative Committee (D.R.U.C.C.), South Western Railways, Government of India, announced that the ticket counter will open tomorrow at Vasco railway station for the Velankanni Special Trains (07361/07362). These special trains will run between Vasco-da-Gama and Velankanni on select dates from August 27 to September 8, 2025, to accommodate pilgrims traveling for the Velankanni Feast. Da Costa urged passengers to book their tickets in advance to avoid the festive rush and thanked the railway authorities for responding to public demand.
