In this video I cover the BEST $1000 Gaming PC Build for 2018! Featuring the BRAND NEW Ryzen 2600, a GTX 1060 and new Cooler Master Q300P case this system is poised for 1080P & 1440P gaming at 60FPS in the latest AAA titles! (And yes… it runs Fortnite!)

For the CPU in this build I selected the BRAND NEW AMD Ryzen 5 2600. This 6-core CPU comes on AMD’s impreoved Ryzen+ architecture, on a smaller 12nm manufacturing process than seen previoulsy on the 1600 & 1600X chips. This 6-core, 12-thread CPU is not only good in the multi-threaded department, with video editing and streaming certainly possible, but in most modern, and older gaming titles, with fast single threaded performance. The IPC improvements over the last generatrion Ryzen CPUs give this chip a base clock speed of 3.4Ghz, boosting upto 3.8GHz!

For the motherboard I selected the MSI B350M BAZOOKA. This motherboard sits on the more budget end of the spectrum, but supports overlocking of both the CPU and RAM, supports M.2 SSDs, dual channel memory and USB 3.1! It does this with a great colour scheme that looks fantastic in this build!

For the RAM I selected 2 x 8GB dimms of Corsair’s Vengeance LPX memory. 16GB of DDR4 is a prime amount of memory in 2018, and will prevent bottlenecking. The fast speeds also bode well for the Ryzen+ CPUs which perform better under faster clocked memory.

For the storage I selected a simple Seagate Barracuda 2TB hard drive. Whilst an SSD on top of this would work well, and give fast boot up times it would vastly increase the costs, and given volatility in GPU and memory prices as of late, there just isn’t the room in today’s budget.

For the graphics card I selected the MSI Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060, a 6GB graphics card that works very well at both 1080p at Hiigh settings with some 1440p gaming plausable in some titles on lower settings.

For the case I selected the NEW Cooler Master Q300P. This unique case looks fantastic, with acrylic panels virtually the whole way around, a good IO, great form factor and sleek design. The case also provides good air-flow, with 2 RGB fans included!

Finally, for the power supply I selected the Cooler Master Masterwatt 650. This 80+ Bronze power supply is an incredibly priced PSU, with all black, individually sleeved, semi-mopdular cables and a semi-fanless design.

Overall this $1000 Gaming PC Build for 2018 is INSANE! 1080p & 1440p gaming in titles such as GTA V, Fortnite, Battlefield 1, Need for Speed Payback & Destiny 2 is more than possible, with 100FPS+ frame rates in games such as CS:GO, World of Warcraft and League of Legends! This is the BEST Gaming PC Under $1000 for 2018 and will not disappoint!
