Security cameras captured the most haunting scene — a tiny puppy, panic in every step, sprinting down the street as larger dogs chased him. He didn’t know where to go or who to trust, only that he had to keep running. In pure desperation, Gothen chose the right house to beg for help… and that choice saved his life.

An angel named Miriam saw him and ran outside, scooping his trembling little body into her arms. She reached out to us at NAFAF immediately, and we rushed Gothen straight to the vet. What we discovered shattered us. His fragile body was crawling with fleas and blood-sucking ticks, especially around his ears, where they had fed relentlessly. He was exhausted, scared, and hurting — yet through it all, Gothen wagged his tail and leaned in for affection, grateful just to be safe.

Now this sweet baby is finally out of danger, but his fight isn’t over. Gothen needs ongoing medical care, antibiotics, parasite treatment, bloodwork, nutritious food, and eventually his neuter surgery. These costs add up quickly, and we cannot do this without help!
