This video reminds me of growing up in the Virgin Islands where African Black Soap was and still is a household staple.
The African Black Soap Crumbles I use are made in Ghana . Authentic. I found this product via another soaper here on YouTube called Ellen Ruth Soaps ) Amazing how she appreciates this wonderful highly sought after blended goodness for our largest organ the skin. I wanted to try her posted recipe ( so generous ) but i had no sunflower oil so i created my own soap recipe on soap calc. This bar is loaded with an abundance of skin loving butters and oils . Smells amazing , feels silky smooth after rinsing and lathers quite lovely. Enjoy !

I made my own pot ash a few years ago with similar ingredients available here in the states. I used it as an exfoliating ingredient in one of my soaps. Those photos are available on my instagram ( hsc_2020 ) and on Etsy ( hibiscus soap boutique).
I added photo of recipe and ingredients used at the end of this video.
