This video was created by students as part of a course, “Planning for Active Transportation” at McGill University. This educational video intends to engage and inform the public about the health benefits (physical, mental, and social) of using public transit, cycling and walking as alternatives to single-occupancy vehicles for everyday commute. It describes the evidence-based advantages of the use of active modes and presents feasible strategies that can assist individuals in increasing their use of these modes.
