Full Odds Shiny Flying Gyarados! In my honest opinion there is no better way to shiny hunt for Gyarados other than this one that flies in the Obisidian Fieldlands.
I recommend this hunt to anyone. You start the hunt in the Village of course and warp to Heights Camp where you will run to the right, hop on Braviary and fly straight. You don't have to dismount and remount Braviary when you reach the ridge I do in the video, I only did it so I could get higher in the air to see the Gyarados from further away.
With this hunt you can expect to get about 70 Gyarados seen per hour which is pretty slow but worth it. Also expect a lot of Geodudes.
