Genesis 8 Explained | God Remembers Noah
After 150 days of rising waters, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.
Noah waited, sending out a raven and a dove, until the earth was dry again.
Then, at God’s command, Noah and his family stepped out of the ark to a brand-new beginning.
Noah’s first act was worship — building an altar and offering a sacrifice.
And God, smelling the pleasing aroma, declared that never again would He destroy all life with a flood.
As long as the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, summer and winter, day and night shall never cease.
Genesis 8 reminds us that the same God who judges is the God who remembers, restores, and renews.
From destruction came mercy.
From judgment came hope.
And from Noah’s faith came a new beginning.
