Описание: After having worked decades in the international air cargo industry, working for major airlines, I'm off on a brand new adventure. My last position was with one of the largest airlines in the world, a fortune 500 corporation, based at their world headquarters in Chicago. It was a higher level corporate position but my roots, and my heart, always remained in the ground-level operations. I'm a hands-on guy by nature and although very proud and appreciative of the success I had achieved, each promotion pulled me farther and farther from what I had loved - the excitement and challenges of aircraft movement and handling, the myriad of specialized equipment involved, and the never-ending challenges of managing large-scale operational complexities. In short, logistics is in my blood. So, with that said, I'm looking forward to the new challenges in front of me. I know that my background will be very valuable. I also know that I will have a LOT to learn as I make the transition from cargo moving at 35,000 ft and 500+ mph to loads that move a bit slower and closer to the ground but are no less important to get to their destination on time and undamaged.
