Hazardous travel conditions, such as blowing snow or snow-covered roadways, will continue through Sunday. Folks are encouraged to stay off the roads. Temperatures turn bitterly cold overnight through Sunday morning, and that is expected to last through early next week.
With roads covered in snow, a refreeze is likely overnight, leading to black ice.
Most of the Charlotte metro saw 6 - 8 inches, with isolated spots between 10 - 12 inches. Stay tuned for updated reports and totals once the storm ends.
