The GAC GA4 is a compact sedan that is priced at the subcompact sedan level. It is larger than the Honda Civic and the Toyota Corolla Altis in terms of dimensions, but comes in at a lower price point than the all new Honda City RS, the Mazda 2, and even the top-spec Toyota Vios. The cabin has a distinct, Toyota Camry feel to it, without the wood accents. This is expected because GAC manufactures Toyotas for mainland China. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the 2021 GAC GA4 and then take it out for a drive to get a feel of its driving dynamics. The interior space feels as big as a Honda Accord, which is weird because it is just a compact sedan. It straddles the size of a compact and a midsize sedan, similar to the Volkswagen Lamando. The features and amenities found inside the cabin can rival executive midsized sedans, which makes the GAC GA4 a compelling package.
